Glyndebourne’s fresh new take on La bohème leads the Glyndebourne Tour lineup this autumn
Glyndebourne’s brand new production of Puccini’s La bohème, which opened to critical acclaim at Glyndebourne Festival this summer, takes to the road this autumn as part of the Glyndebourne Tour, with performances at Glyndebourne during October and then at venues in Milton Keynes, Canterbury, Norwich and Liverpool during November. The striking new staging by Dutch director Floris Visser was widely praised for its fresh take on an opera that is familiar to many.

A New Opera about the Refugee Experience
Marianna Suri and Jeremy Gill present The Journey
The staged premiere of The Journey, a new opera inspired by the ongoing refugee crisis, will take place on the final day of Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival 2022 on 11 September. The Journey was composed for the Citizens of the World Choir, an amateur choir of refugees and asylum seekers that hail from all over the world, current Jette Parker Young Artist Chuma Sijeqa, and soprano Marianna Suri.
