Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich – Season preview 2022-23

The Tonhalle Orchestra has announced details of its concerts next season. Artists ‘in focus’ will be Emmanuel Pahud and Fazil Say, Creative Chair will be Toshio Hosokawa. Paavo Järvi will continue recording his Bruckner cycle, this season it will the grand Symphony No.8. The Mendelssohn cycle is virtually complete, only the Lobgesang remains to be recorded. Soloists include Rudolph Buchbinder, Gautier Capuçon, Isabelle Faust, Martin Grubinger, Hilary Hahn, Janine Jansen, Antoine Tamestit, Yuja Wang and Frank Peter Zimmermann.
