Lucerne Festival Preview 2015

 

Lucerne’s Easter Festival 2015 will concentrate on religious works. John Eliot Gardiner will bring over the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists for a performance of the B Minor Mass on March 26th, Mariss Jansons brings the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra with Dvorak’s Stabat Mater on March 28th, and finish the mini-festival with Bruckner’s Sixth Symphony on March 29th. Ingo Metzmacher will conduct the South- West German Radio (Südwestfunk Radio) Symphony Orchestra Freiburg/Baden-Baden in a performance of Mahler’s Sixth Symphony on March 27th.

Lucerne’s Summer Festival 2015 features the surtitle “Humour”.

30th August: Boston Symphony Orch., Nelsons, Heldenleben
