BALLET ICONS GALA 2026 celebrates 20 years at the London Coliseum with a dazzling anniversary tribute to the art of ballet honouring distinguished ballet personalities and bringing awareness to the environmental crisis

Globally recognised Ballet Icons Gala marks a remarkable milestone in 2026 as it celebrates its 20th Anniversary. Returning to the London Coliseum on 15 February 2026, this landmark edition promises an unforgettable evening that honours two decades of artistic excellence and the timeless beauty of classical and contemporary ballet.

The Ballet Icons Gala is an annual event that celebrates the rich heritage and future of ballet. Over the past twenty years it has become one of the most prestigious events in the global dance calendar, renowned for presenting the world’s greatest dancers and choreographic masterpieces, and for bringing together stars from leading ballet companies on one stage.

The 2026 20th Anniversary Gala will feature an exceptional programme that reflects the evolution of the event over the last two decades. Audiences can look forward to much-loved classical highlights, rarely performed gems, and exciting contemporary works by Edwaard Liang, Wayne McGregor, Angelin Preljocaj, Marco Goecke, Jason KittelbergerMthuthuzeli November and Jean-Christophe Maillot, including special creations and UK premieres. In collaboration with Vildwerk Foundation the Gala will present a UK premiere of Asylum, a piece by Antonia Franceschi emphasising world’s environmental crisis.  The Gala will be accompanied by the English National Ballet Philharmonic Orchestra. The event will honour distinguished ballet personalities bringing additional importance to the occasion. The evening will offer a unique opportunity to experience the artistry of today’s foremost ballet stars while celebrating the Gala’s illustrious history. There will also be a photo exhibition featuring project’s highlights captured by ballet photographers over the years.
