PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED INCLUDING WORLD PREMIERE OF ‘RASPUTIN’
International ballet stars Sergei Polunin and Johan Kobborg will perform in a new mixed programme at the London Palladium from 28 May to 1 June 2019. The programme on 28, 29 and 30 May will feature three one-act ballets: Fraudulent Smile, Paradox and Sacré. The programme on 31 May and 1 June will feature the world premiere of Rasputin.
English National Ballet is pleased to announce the winner of the 2019 Emerging Dancer Award is Julia Conway.
Having performed the Flames of Paris pas de deux with partner Rentaro Nakaaki and Untitled Code, a solo by choreographed by Rambert dancer Miguel Altunaga, Julia Conway was announced as winner on stage at Sadler’s Wells – and livestreamed to audiences across the world on Tuesday 7 May 2019 – by Artistic Director of English National Ballet, Tamara Rojo.
