In Marianne’s case it doesn’t just mean tribe, though as I shall show, that is of overwhelming importance; it means faithful to herself, even as that self continues to reveal to her, unknown aspects of herself.

CARNEGIE HALL SELECTS BEGINS ON 14 MAY 

From 14 May, Carnegie Hall will offer weekly full-length and free concert streams via carnegiehall.org that feature legendary classical musicians in performances from some of the finest concert halls around the world. The new series, Carnegie Hall Selects, celebrates great artists, composers and musical works that have played a central role in Carnegie Hall’s history. A new Carnegie Hall Selects program will be offered each Friday throughout the summer.
