The 77th Aldeburgh Festival offered a wide variety of repertoire, including several new and recent works of great interest. My experience of this year’s events featured memorable performances given in the Britten Studio and in the Concert Hall at Snape Maltings.

While Britten Pears Arts is not able to present a full Aldeburgh Festival this year, June will be packed with performances that have a strong Festival feel, with a Britten focus and an emphasis on new work. These events are part of a Summer at Snape season running from 21 May to early September.
